Skill

"Skill‟ is said as “the ability to perform a task to required standards, with a minimum of unnecessary energy” (King 1960; cited by King 1964, p. 112). King (ibid.) added further that a skilled person can react with the sudden change in task. A skilled person is capable of foreseeing changes. He can maintain minimum standard of performance despite variations in the task. “A skilled performance is thus relaxed, appropriate, predictive, and adaptive” (Kay, 1957; Welford, 1959; cited by King, 1964, p. 112)
