DIFFERENCES IN HR POLICIES IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES

When someone reads about Human Resources, he will think that it is followed like the book printed in the practical world. Just let me inform you, you will be surprised to know that it is not followed as it should be. Well, people may say that there must be some kind of shortages in resources or tools. But it is not fully true all the time.

Sometimes people does not want to follow the ideal process, may be sometimes top management does not want it to be followed or even sometimes they do not know the importance of the role of Human resources in an organization. Even if you go further to investigate, you can find that Human resource department sometimes does not want to implement some tools or process, because it may back fire to them. It may put their own jobs in danger. Anyway, I will discuss these in later posts.

One thing you can be sure that HR has got different interpretation in different countries. It is supposed to be very important, like a backbone of an organisation; but unfortunately different countries includes and excludes some parts from it. Like some places administrative duties are the responsibility of HR, some places even transport maintenance is the responsibility of HR. Some places training is not no where near HR. That may not be all; there may be so many other different roles existent in different parts of the world. So, do not hesitate to post comments, so that all of us can know about it.
